ABOUT THE EVENT What do Toronto businesses, NHL alumni, and kids have in common? This April 24, everything! Any business may register a team of up 15 people to play with 2 NHL alumni against a similar team. Then, mingle over lunch, boast your souvenir jerseys and team photos, partake in the silent auction. Launched in 1991, Skate for Kids is an all-day hockey event, hosted by Mandrake Management Consultants and St. Michael’s College School. Over the years, Skate for Kids has benefited a number of local children's charities including Variety Village, Children's Own Museum, Museum of Childhood, Tim Horton's Children's Foundation Camps, Hockey Fights Cancer, The Gatehouse, ProAction, National Advertising Benevolent Society and St. Michael's College School Bursary Fund. To date, we have raised over $670,000 … let’s make that figure grow! Five ways to become part of Skate for Kids 2010, on and off the ice: 1. Register a team and play with the pros 2. Submit a silent auction entry 4. Simply give a monetary donation. 5. Come cheer for everyone at St. Mike’s arena on April 24th !
St. Michael’s School College is located at 1515 Bathurst St., Toronto ON M5P 3H4. The closest major intersection is Bathurst and St. Clair. Limited parking is available on the school grounds.
